Bayer/AHRI weed management field walk
Organised by Bayer CropScience, this weed management field day will highlight results from Bayer’s new herbicide, showcasing its use for weed management in barley.
Additionally, the field day will include local research by AHRI, with support from the GRDC, evaluating the importance of seeding rate, row spacing and seed size of hybrid canola on annual ryegrass growth and competition.
1st Session – 8:30am – 12:30pm
Start at Fleming Grove Road site, Travel to Scaddan as group for AHRI Trials, return to Gibson for Lunch
2nd Session – 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Start at Fleming Grove Road site for Lunch, travel as group to Scaddan for AHRI Trials

- Evaluating the interaction between wheat establishment timing and pre-emergent herbicides choice on annual ryegrass growth and competition.
- Evaluating the interaction between the seeding rate, row spacing and seed size of hybrid canola on annual ryegrass growth and competition
